Oahu

In 1778, British captain James Cook claimed the island for Great Britain, and it became a British colony in 1894. The state of Hawaii was formed in 1959, following the admission of Hawaii as the 50th state of the United States.

 

Oklahoma

Oklahoma is a state located in the South Central United States. With over 7 million residents, Oklahoma is the 38th most populous state. The state capital and largest city is Oklahoma City. The region was first explored by the federal government in 1819 and it became a part of the United States in 1907.

Oklahoma is well known for its agricultural and oil industries, as well as its cowboy culture. The state is home to several universities, including the University of Oklahoma, the University of Tulsa, and Oklahoma State University.

Oregon is a state in the United States of America. It is located in the northwest corner of the country and shares a border with Washington to the south. Oregon is home to both the Coast Range and the Cascade Mountains, which run parallel to the Pacific Ocean. The state is well known for its natural resources, including timber, agriculture, hydroelectricity, and fishing. Portland, Oregon – located in the heart of Oregon – is one of the most populous cities in the United States. The state’s capital city is Salem. Oregon has a population of almost 5 million people.
Colorado

Colorado is a state located in the United States of America. It is located in the Western region of the country and shares a border with New Mexico to the south. Colorado is home to several natural resources, including coal, oil, and gold. The state is also well known for its ski resorts, including Aspen, Breckenridge, Keystone, Snowmass Village, and Arapahoe Basin. Colorado has a population of over 5 million people.
